Hi, I’m Paige — the heart behind the lens at A Little Bit Messi Photography. This little dream of mine started with an Australian Shepherd named Messi, who came into my life just after I met my now-husband, Andre. We adopted him together early in our relationship, and he quickly became the center of our little world.

Messi wasn’t just our dog — he was our co-pilot, our trail buddy, and the heart of so many of our early memories. With his personality that was equal parts chaos and charm, Messi taught us both how much love and joy a dog can bring into your life. He was a little wild, a little stubborn, and a whole lot of heart — and yes, a little bit messy in all the best ways.

His spirit is the reason this business exists. I wanted to create something that captured the kind of bond we shared with him — full of personality, presence, and love that lingers long after the paw prints fade.

Meet Bucky - my golden guy.

After Messi, life brought Bucky — my big-hearted, golden retriever with the goofiest grin and the softest soul. He’s gentle where Messi was wild, clumsy where Messi was precise, and just as loved.

Andre and I often joke that Bucky is the emotional glue of our household. He’s never far from our side, always ready for a cuddle, a treat, or a good splash in the mud. He also helps behind the scenes—keeping me company on editing days, testing out new props, and reminding me to take breaks (usually for belly rubs).

Because life is beautifully messy—and the people and pets we love make it even more so. Families grow, kids change, seniors step into new chapters, and our four-legged soulmates leave pawprints that stay long after they’re gone. None of it lasts forever, but the love in these moments is worth holding onto.

A Little Bit Messi Photography exists to preserve that love—honestly, joyfully, and with all the personality that makes your story yours. I’m here to capture the laughter, the chaos, the quiet moments, and the connections you never want to forget. Images you’ll frame, revisit, and treasure for years.

  • Sessions can be at your home, a favorite park, an outdoor location with great light, or anywhere meaningful to you. I’m happy to suggest spots if you’re not sure where to start. I’m happy to recommend locations if you’re unsure!

  • Absolutely. Every pet has their own personality—that’s part of the fun. I tailor each session to their comfort level and work at their pace to capture genuine moments.

  • No stress—we can reschedule or move to an indoor location. My goal is always to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

  • You’ll receive your full edited gallery within 2–3 weeks. Galleries are delivered via email so you can view, download, and share with ease.
